A Religious Idea Called "America"

In his book Americanism (Doubleday, 2006), Professor David Gelernter of Yale University, a former senior fellow in Jewish thought at the Shlaem Center in Jerusalem, argues that what we have come to call "Americanism" is in fact a secular version of Zionism.
