Brendan James doesn't fit any of the clichés us regular folk have about rock stars. He is gracious, introspective, and funny, but not at the cost of others' pride. It may be easy to credit his kindness to his not selling out stadiums - yet - but with effusive praise from Newsweek and Entertainment Weekly to his credit, he's certainly no unknown.
